My name is Anthony, and sometimes I wonder how many lives a man can live inside one body. I’ve been in more car accidents than I care to count—metal twisting, glass shattering, the world spinning upside down. Each time, I thought it might be the end. Each time, I woke up with broken bones, scars, and the heavy silence of survival.

I remember the first crash when I was just a teenager. My ribs snapped like dry branches, and the doctors said I was lucky to breathe again. Then came another, years later, when my legs were crushed under the weight of steel. I learned to walk again, slower but stronger. And then another, and another—each one leaving its mark, each one reminding me how fragile this life really is.

But here’s the thing: I’m still here. Every accident could have been the last chapter, yet somehow the book keeps turning. My body carries the map of my survival—scars like roads, bones healed crooked but resilient. I’ve stopped asking “why me?” and started believing there must be a reason.

Maybe it’s fate. Maybe it’s grace. Maybe I’m meant to tell this story so someone else knows that even when life breaks you, it doesn’t mean you’re finished. My time isn’t up on this earth yet. I’ve been spared too many times to think otherwise.

So I keep moving forward, slower but steadier, carrying the weight of all those crashes as proof: I must be meant to be here.
